The first known Wayzgoose, thrown in 1681, was a boozy summer feast hosted by a Letterpress Printer for his Print Shop employees. The printing community embraced this annual tradition, often sharing a harvest goose... hence the name, Wayzgoose.

Today, the Wayzgoose has been reimagined as a public arts festival. At Wayzgoose Kitsap, 24 local artists will print hand-carved linoleum blocks like the one below with 2 full-size steamrollers!

It's all happening at 4th & Pacific in Downtown Bremerton! Our two-block street festival will stretch down Pacific Avenue between 5th and 4th, and up 4th toward the Roxy Theatre.

We need LOTS of volunteers for the Festival on Labor Day Weekend, with roles for ages 12 and up!

Help make giant prints, support our vendors, guide festival-goers, or craft at the Kids Station. Get in the action, learn something new, and give back to the community.

Just submit your information here and Brie, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch!
