Sheridan Park Community Center announced as venue for 2025 Wayzgoose Kitsap Art Festival!

Bremerton, Washington - This month, Wayzgoose Kitsap announced the location of their 8th annual art festival. The 2025 family-friendly event will be held at the Sheridan Community Center in the heart of Bremerton. Thanks to the help of donors, volunteers, and the support from the City of Bremerton Parks and Recreation Department, this year’s festival will be the largest yet. 

In a celebration of all things art and community, teams of volunteers will work with the artists who are currently designing, carving and preparing for the public festival which will happen in June. Each team will print one of the 3x3’ carved linoleum plates outdoors to make a limited edition series of giant prints. 

Festival attendees will be able to watch this art come to life in real time, shop from local artists in the artist market located in the Sheridan Park gym, enjoy outdoor music and lawn games, partake in hands-on print activities for all ages with the Kitsap Regional Library, and more! 

Moving the festival to the Sheridan Community Center allows for new larger viewing areas, and an opportunity to enjoy a beautiful local neighborhood. Local restaurants including Heathens Bakery, Restaurant Lola, Spiva Spice and Campana’s Pizza will be open with festival-themed food and drinks.

• Hood Canal School Artists

• Mariah Finch

• Rice Fergus Miller Team

• BARN Print and Book Arts Studio

• Rogue Gorilla

• Letterpressed Librarians

The public is invited to join in the festivities from 9am to 6pm on Saturday, June 7th at the Sheridan Park Community Center (680 Lebo Blvd, Bremerton WA 98310).
