Welcome!

Wayzgoose Kitsap is a non-profit organization that celebrates printmaking, supports local artists, and fosters the arts community.  

This summer, Wayzgoose Kitsap invites artists, craftsmen, and local businesses to apply for participation in our inaugural arts festival.  The 2-day street festival, taking place Labor Day weekend, September 1st and 2nd, will welcome the public to experience larger-than-life printmaking with 2 full-size steamrollers.

Location

Outdoors at 4th Street and Pacific Avenue in Downtown Bremerton.  

Booths will be located on 4th Street, between Pacific and Washington, and Pacific Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street.

This year, Wayzgoose Kitsap anticipates the attendance of 3,500 people. Downtown Bremerton will host an array of popular community events on Labor Day weekend, notably the 29th Annual Blackberry Festival, with expected combined attendance of 15,000.

Sunday, September 2nd

Set Up: 8:00AM – 10:00AM
Festival Hours: 10:00AM – 6:00PM
Load Out: 6:00PM – 8:00PM

Reserving Your Booth

APPLICATIONS

Vendor applications will be received and accepted on a rolling basis beginning June 6th, 2018.  To apply, fill out the form on this page.

Once the applications are received, they will be reviewed by the Wayzgoose Kitsap board with responses sent within 1 week.  

COMMUNICATIONS

All communications, including acceptance notifications, will be sent via email to the address provided in the application. Paper notices will not be sent.  

PAYMENTS

If accepted, you will receive a notice via email with an invoice for booth fees attached. Payment is due 2 weeks after notification of acceptance to secure booth booking.

Payments may be made by check to Wayzgoose Kitsap.  

REFUNDS

The deadline for refunds is August 15th. Unfortunately, we cannot make exceptions to this policy for any reason.  

VENDOR RULES AND REGULATIONS

Vendors must meet all requirements established by the Bremerton-Kitsap Health District, Bremerton Fire Marshal Office, and City of Bremerton.

BOOTH INFORMATION

  • Vendors provide their own booth, canopy, table, and chairs
  • Booths must be equipped to withstand inclement weather with a canopy and stabilizing weights (40lbs + recommended)
  • Booths will be located on 4th Street, between Pacific and Washington, and Pacific Avenue between 4th Street and 5th Street

BOOTH ASSIGNMENTS

Booth assignment is at the discretion of the Wayzgoose Kitsap board. In our inaugural year, we are NOT offering premium booth booking.

ELECTRICITY

110v power is available (1 outlet) at 15 Amps.  If you would like to use the electricity, please bring your own 20ft extension cord.

Wayzgoose Kitsap is not charging for this amenity and cannot guarantee electricity access if unforeseen problems arise from the city’s infrastructure.

BOOTH RULES

Vendor booths and materials MUST stay within their 10’ x 10’ area limits in order to satisfy city fire marshal requirements.  

All booths MUST be ready before fire marshal inspection, TWO HOURS before the start of the festival.  Vendors are expected to keep booths open during all festival hours.

Booths are expected to appear in good order. A small prize will be given at the end of each day for the most attractive booth.  

PLEASE DO NOT BRING:

  • Alcohol.  It’s not allowed in or around the booths due to local regulations.
  • Your boombox or music making device.
  • Animals.  Sorry, no pets are allowed.
  • Trash.  You are responsible for removing your trash.  Thank you!

SOME VENDORS MUST BRING:

Snack Vendors are required to have a Class K fire extinguisher. Commercial Vendors are required to have a Class A-B-C fire extinguisher.

SECURITY

The Festival will provide some level of light security, but it is NOT responsible for loss or damage. As the booths will be in a public area overnight, we recommend removing valuables Saturday evening.

RAIN OR SHINE EVENT

Wayzgoose Kitsap is a rain or shine event.  Vendors agree to be available during Festival hours, regardless of weather.  In preparation for possible inclement weather, we suggest that all canopies are secured with a minimum of 40 pounds of weight on each corner.

INSURANCE IS REQUIRED!

Vendors must carry their own insurance in the amount of $1,000,000. The Wayzgoose Kitsap organization, its volunteers, and its security are not financially liable for losses or damages of any kind.  

You may purchase insurance through ACT Insurance Program for $39 or use another agent of your choice.

TAXES AND FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS

Transactions must be completed at the vendor booths. Wayzgoose Kitsap cannot offer cash or credit / debit services.

It’s the vendor’s responsibility to collect and report Washington State Sales Tax as required by law.  A UBI tax ID is required by Washington State. For more information, see http://dor.wa.gov.

Out-of-state vendors are required to obtain a temporary tax ID number.  A temporary WA State tax ID number can be issued, but is only good for two shows within the state per year.

VENDOR AMENITIES

  • Port-a-Potty restrooms will be provided
  • Booth sitter volunteers may be available upon request  
  • A prize at the end of the day for the most attractive booth
